Members of the Highway 78 Community Improvement District participated in the kick-off meetings for the Hwy 78 Revitalization Task Force Study underway by Gwinnett County. Gwinnett County has allocated $150,000 and hired consultants to conduct a market study to include land use and transportation issues for the Hwy. 78 corridor. The kick-off meetings were held this week at Vecoma on Ross Road and members of the CID joined local residents, business owners, school personnel, religious leaders, and other interested parties to begin the process of gathering data on our desires for Hwy. 78.
