The Georgia Department of Transportation authorized a permit for the City of Snellville to begin construction of a safety realignment project at the intersection of Hwy 78 and Oak Road. The project will realign Oak Road with the signalized intersection of Henry Clower Boulevard. The newly constructed road, City Center Drive, is the first phase of Snellville's City Center project that is the east anchor of the Hwy 78 CID.
