With the support of Gwinnett County and area homeowners and businesses, the Highway 78 CID filed a request with the Atlanta Regional Commission to fund a $100,000 Livable Centers Initiative study for the West/East Park Place area. If approved in early 2004, the study will take an in-depth look at existing and potential improvements in the area to provide greater mobility, including pedestrian and bicycle, and opportunities for revitalization of underutilized or vacant properties.
