1/28/04: Kenny King is new 78 CID Chairman
SNELLVILLE: As planned, Emory
Morsberger announced at the General Membership Meeting on Thursday, January 22
of the Hwy 78 CID that current Vice Chairman, Kenny King, would assume the
role of Chairman beginning in February.
King said, “We are grateful to Emory for his dedication, passion,
and service to our community. The Hwy 78 CID simply would not exist today, were
it not for Emory’s drive and vision. He will continue to be a valued voice on
our Board.”
Kenny King is one of the original proponents
of formation of the Community Improvement District. He is a property owner and
home builder and his firm, Monarch Land Development, has a long history in
Gwinnett County and within the 78 CID area.
Emory Morsberger was the driving force in
organizing the Hwy 78
CID and has served as its’ Chairman
since formation a year ago. He is a property owner and his firm, The Morsberger
Group, is actively seeking revitalization projects along Hwy 78, in
Lawrenceville, and in
Atlanta.
