Commissioner Beaudreau appoints CID Board Member

LAWRENCEVILLE: District 3 County Commissioner Mike Beaudreau today received unanimous support for his appointment of local businessman Gary Custar to the Hwy 78 Community Improvement District Board of Directors.

Custar owns and operates Presentation Solutions, Inc. located on Hwy 78 in the Parker Business Court. He and his wife Becky, a teacher at McConnell Middle, live within ¼ mile of US 78 with their two sons, Ian and Graham, who attend Brookwood High.

Commissioner Beaudreau said, “Gary Custar will bring a unique perspective combining small business, resident, and school experiences to the Hwy 78 CID Board.” Custar said, “I look forward to serving with the other Board Members in making the Highway 78 area a safer, more attractive, and more inviting place in which to live and do business.”

The Hwy 78 CID Board is composed of 8 Members – 6 members elected by District property owners, 1 member appointed by the City of Snellville, and 1 member appointed by the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners. Mr. Custar will formally join the Board at the January 26 meeting at 1:30 pm at Snellville City Hall.
