78 CID off to fast start in 2005

SNELLVILLE: During the first regularly scheduled meeting of 2005, the Hwy 78 CID Board adopted the FY 2005 Budget, approved the 2005 Legislative Agenda, finalized a number of potential transportation improvements, and received presentations from professional consultants on an Intelligent Transportation System and Landscape Master Plan for the U.S. 78 corridor.

The group also welcomed our newest Board Member Gary Custar and finalized plans for the Hwy 78 CID Annual Membership Meeting on Thursday, January 27, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at the Vecoma event facility located on Ross Road. The annual meeting will include an update on the median project provided by representatives from the Georgia Department of Transportation as well as provide an opportunity for public input into the preliminary Landscape Master Plan concepts.
