Shiver is new Evermore CID Chairman
Gary Custar elected Vice Chair
SNELLVILLE: Continuing the Evermore CID Board’s tradition of rotating members as
chair, Ken Shiver assumed the role of Chairman of the Community Improvement
District at the April 25, 2007 Board Meeting. Ken will serve until April
2008, at which time the newly elected Vice Chair, Gary Custar, will take on the
Chairman’s duties.
Shiver said, “We are grateful
to Forrest Adair for his dedication and service to our Board as Chairman this past
year. As a result of his leadership, the Evermore CID achieved a great number of successes during Forrest’s term as Chair and he
will continue to be a valued voice on our Board.”
Ken Shiver, Chairman,
is an active member of the Community Improvement District. He owns and
operates Millennium Cycleworks on U.S. 78 just east of Lake Lucerne. His
dealership is one of the foremost Yamaha and Kawasaki dealers in the state.
Gary Custar, Vice Chair, is a partner in Presentation
Solutions, a provider of audio visual equipment to school systems across the
nation. Mr. Custar's company is location on Highway 78 in the Parker Court
Business Park.
Also at the April 25, 2007 Board
meeting, Ken Shiver and Dwight Harrison were re-elected to their respective
Board posts for additional three year terms. The Evermore CID Board is composed
of eight members -- six members are elected to three year, staggered terms by
property owners, one member is a Gwinnett County appointee, and one member is a
City of Snellville appointee.
